SplashDot (Splashdot, Splash Dot) is an internet company founded in 2000 by Jonathan Csakany and Patrick Watson. The company began building knowledge sharing software initially used for sharing information online (similar to blogging). nCentive, the company's main software application, evolved as a relationship marketing suite of applications to help companies run internet based contests and loyalty programs. The company is based in Canada.

By 2007, the company became one of the only companies to provide relationship marketing software to 80% of Canadian government lotteries[1].
