Hi. I have a SUL at my home wiki (de) with the name Imzadi. In this wiki another user Imzadi already exists. There are four edits in February 2006. Is it possible to get the account anyhow? --194.39.218.10 (talk) 18:02, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, just submit an SUL-only request on the project page, following the instructions. demize (t · c) 15:06, 14 January 2011 (UTC)
While the decision is pending for Maliwi, I have created the temporary username Marcus-l-williams. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marcus-l-williams (talk • contribs) 22:58, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
Laxer deadlines
Hello. I've been quite inactive for a while now, although I've tried to glance at bureaucrat-related pages from time to time. I've noticed that bureaucrats have become less adherent to the 7-day waiting period that used to be rigidly in force. In particular, the subtext for the date headers has changed to "...on or before...", whereas I'm sure it used to be "...no sooner than..." Was some discussion held in support of this change? —Anonymous DissidentTalk 01:45, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
- As far as I know the position is still that we should give the target account 7 days to object to non-SUL usurpations. It was always the practice to process SUL requests straightaway - now the boards have merged we have some requests that need to wait and others that don't.
