An interlanguage is an interim language created by learners of a second language, influenced by features of languages they already speak, features of the target language, and linguistic universals.

Interlanguage may also refer to:

  • Interlinguistics, the study of communication between people who cannot make themselves understood with different first languages
  • Pivot language, an artificial or natural language used as an intermediary language for automatic translation between many different languages
