Waskerley Way

Waskerley Way is the stage name of electronic / shoegaze musician Michael Bridgewater from Newcastle upon Tyne, England.[1] Bridgewater makes use of programming, sampling, guitars and clarinet to make tracks that are often compared to those of artists affiliated with the lo-fi and chillwave genres.[2] Bridgewater cites shoegaze band My Bloody Valentine as a significant influence, as well as video game music of the nineties.[3]

2010 saw the release of three Waskerley Way EPs including Energy Legs, Holly and Cat Music (which had a physical release on cassette through Discount Horse Records).[4]
