Tenerife prior to the Castilian conquest.

Icod or Icode is one of nine menceyatos guanches (native kingdoms) that was divided the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands, Spain) after the death of mencey Tinerfe.

Occupied part of the extension of the existing municipalities of San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha and Icod de los Vinos. His last mencey was Pelinor.
