Flashback is an American radio show syndicated by Citadel Media (formerly ABC Radio). It is hosted by the "irreverent" Bill St. James (who is known to television viewers as the promotional announcer for the Showtime cable networks), and is programmed by Tom Powell. The show is produced by Powell, Rob Frankel and Frank Guida. Guida also writes the show. Flashback plays a diverse mix of classic rock, newscasts, classic TV and movie clips, commercials and comedy bits to create thematic segments from the 1960s to the 1980s. The four-hour program is syndicated daily to over 200 radio affiliates in the United States and Canada.

Flashback Pop Quiz

In addition to the original show, Citadel Media also produces the weekly Flashback Pop Quiz, a trivia program hosted by St. James, written by Tom Powell and Frank Guida, and produced by Powell, Frankel, Guida and Michael Phillips. Each week, questions are asked about pop culture from the 1960s to present day and listeners call in to answer. If questions are answered correctly, prizes given away are CDs, DVDs, CD ROM games, t-shirts, books, caps and other pop culture memorabilia - more than $10,000 worth of merchandise.
