Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Facebook Platform, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Sailsbystars (talk) 19:43, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sailsbystars, The link you just deleted is an external link to a completely open and completely free UML design for the Facebook API software system. Let me repeat. This resource is completely free. There is no charge for it. There will never be a charge for it. It is the most comprehensive detailed sofware design information available in the world for the Facebook API. TSRI Opensourceblueprints
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Vuze. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Sailsbystars (talk) 19:44, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

- It is true you are not charging for a product or service, however, you are promoting use of your website with external links that are only marginally relevant to the articles at hand. Given that it is your own website, adding the link yourself violates our conflict of interest policy. Sailsbystars (talk) 20:06, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links, as you did with this edit to Android (operating system). If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. (ESkog)(Talk) 20:01, 22 December 2010 (UTC)
This is your only warning. If you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. It matters not if its "free", you are still promoting a website and or product WuhWuzDat 20:17, 22 December 2010 (UTC)

Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, celebrity or other well-known individual, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
- Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
- What can I do now?
- Add the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
on your user talk page. - Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
- Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
