Mathematical Notes is a mathematical journal published by Springer for the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is an English language translation of the Template:Lang-ru and is published simultaneously with the Russian version.
The journal contains research papers and survey articles in modern algebra, geometry and number theory, functional analysis, logic, set and measure theory, topology, probability and stochastics, differential and noncommutative geometry, operator and group theory, asymptotic and approximation methods, mathematical finance, linear and nonlinear equations, ergodic and spectral theory, operator algebras, and other related theoretical fields. It also presents rigorous results in mathematical physics.[1]
The journal was formerly entitled Mathematical notes of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR until volume 50 (July 1991), and has been published since 1967.[1]
Editors
The current editor in chief is Victor P. Maslov.[when?] Deputy editors in chief are D. V. Anosov, S. Yu. Dobrokhotov and B. S. Kashin.[1]
