Hello. I work in finance in London. I am interested in how apparent order arises out of very loosely ordered systems, as happens with evolution, in financial markets and, brilliantly, here in Wikipedia.

Here is a favourite poem: number 'XL' from A Shropshire Lad by A.E. Housman. I first heard this in the excellent TV play Blue Remembered Hills.

Into my heart an air that kills
        From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content,
        I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
        And cannot come again.
