The Java Leopard (Panthera pardus melas) is a subspecies of leopard found in the Indonesian island of Java. It is orange with black rosettes and spots, but it is also commonly black.

Endangernment

Currently the Java leopard is listed as critically endangered, this to due to habitat loss. Recently there has been a spark of civilization in Java and other Indonesian islands, and many habitats of native animals like the Java leopard are destroyed.
