Oracle Exalogic

Oracle Exalogic, is a private cloud appliance for Oracle, Java and non-Java applications[1]

The Oracle Exadata Database Machine provides a solution for database workloads, ranging from scan-intensive data warehouse applications to highly concurrent OLTP applications. Exalogic combines the Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software, Oracle Database software, and the hardware components from Sun, which results in a highly-available, highly-secure environment. With Oracle's clustering and workload management capabilities, the Database Machine is able to consolidate multiple databases onto a single grid. Exadata is delivered as a complete pre-optimized and pre-configured package of software, servers, and storage. [2]
