cloudControl

cloudControl is a European PHP Cloud Hosting platform. The PaaS provider is based in Potsdam, Germany and shares the same name as the platform. cloudControl is the only provider of a native PHP PaaS with Servers in Europe, thereby abiding the strict EU data privacy laws. The company's platform is largely based on open source components like Apache or Varnish, enabling a usage without lock-in.

In 2009 the company won Germany's Hosting Innovation award.[1]

The company was founded by Philipp Strube, Tobias Wilken and Thomas Ruland. It got business angel seed financing. [2][3]


Development environment

The platform offers hosting of PHP projects. Java, Python and Ruby are announced without a specific date. The platform features an integrated version control system - bazaar and GIT are available.
