Request reason:

if you look at the accounts that nishkid64 claim to be socks, they were simply accounts all created on April 9 in which I was trying to remove uncited categories, they never did anything wrong. For example look at the one edit done by User:Jacobson Phillip, or the other alleged socks like User:Williamson 1957. I have done 10,000+ edits to wikipedia and have created more than 40 articles.

Decline reason:

Technical evidence confirms that you are abusing multiple accounts. Hersfold (t/a/c) 21:06, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

At one time I did I make some socks to effect the result of an AFD, I didn't know we weren't allowed to do such. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Joseph3333/Archive but it should be noted that the end result was for Java7837 account to be blocked for 31 hours. I have never done such behavior after that incident. It also seems to odd that me and User:SkyWriter were both blocked at around the same time, since me and him were both advocates of keeping a large amount of material on the, Converts to Judaism article, while none of the supporters of deleting the large section of material were indefed blocked. I think him and me were blocked so as to prevent us from expressing our opinion on the Converts to Judaism, talk page--Java7837 (talk) 21:13, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Come off it Java7837, you were using sockpuppets in AFDs back in June 2007, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Claimed Messianic prophecies of Jesus and even tried to hide the evidence when you were found out. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:48, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry -- it appears that I did not read this thoroughly. Sock puppetry is a serious matter. I personally have an alternate sign in, but never to engage in the same categories. I have one sign in for historical and textual articles and another for philosophical and religious articles -- and never the twain shall meet. And several admins know both sign ins.
My question is, is there a remedy here? It's been my understanding in the past that an IP can be blocked from creating new accounts. Was I mistaken about that? And is Java permanently blocked? SkyWriter (Tim) (talk) 15:18, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Quite likely; and his edit-warring with two accounts (i.e., User:TazSmith) at List of converts to Judaism would be sufficient for such a ban, especially since he's done exactly the same thing previously and been blocked for it. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 16:35, 15 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked.
