Notability?

Unlike the Yangtze River Crossings, which consists of perhaps the tallest transmission towers in the world and a tourist attraction in Nanjing, I am not seeing any reason for the notability of this particular power line or its main span towers. I'm almost certain that this power line is either not the only one with towers on caissons. Also, to be quite frank, why is there so much coverage on Wikipedia on individual power lines? I have a ton of information that can be written about the history of the subtransmission line that passes by my house, but I don't think it's notable. —Onore Baka Sama(speak | stalk) 04:10, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
