Brattnipane Peaks (71°54′S 24°33′E / 71.900°S 24.550°E / -71.900; 24.550) is a group of peaks, the highest 2,660 m, standing 9 nautical miles (17 km) northwest of Mefjell Mountain in the Sor Rondane Mountains. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers in 1946 from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936-37, and in 1957 in greater detail from air photos taken by U.S. Navy Operation Highjump, 1946-47. Named Brattnipane (the steep peaks) by the Norwegians.
