Talk:Inter-Client Communication Conventions Manual
Appearance
Two of the three links illustrating "The ICCCM is notorious for being ambiguous and difficult to correctly implement" are broken ([1] [2]). We should find some other link to an html version the unix-haters' handbook or remove these links. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.236.49.87 (talk • contribs) 20:19, 9 May 2006
- How about linking to The UNIX-Haters Handbook? This article is more likely to remain up-to-date as for the correct location of the book. - Liberatore(T) 12:12, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Done. Added an appropriate quote, as well. -- EdC 23:28, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Window manager
Should it be mentioned that one of the most important purposes of the ICCCM is to define communications between generic X clients and one very specific X client, the window manager?--NapoliRoma (talk) 21:57, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
