General questions. All candidate are expected to provided responses to this set of "general" questions, which will be transcluded to each candidate's question page.

Individual questions. Eligible voters may ask a limit of one additional "individual" question by posting it directly on a candidate's question page underneath the general questions. Candidates are not obliged to answer all of the individual questions on their page. The question should:

  • be clearly worded and brief, and in any case not exceed 75 words;
  • be specific to a particular candidate (the same individual question should not be posted en mass onto candidates' pages);
  • not duplicate other questions (editors are encouraged to discuss merging similar questions);

Editors are, of course, welcome to post questions to individual candidates throughout the election.

Eligible voters

Editor who had 150 mainspace edits on a single user account on the English Wikipedia as of 00:01 UTC on 1 November 2010 are also eligible to post questions. Wikipedians who are ineligible to vote are asked not to post questions, but are welcome to participate in discussion on the candidate.

Instructions for candidates

Question pages will be created for each candidate. To answer a general question: copy it over onto the "General questions" section of your own "/Questions" subpagepage (accessible through your statement, presuming you followed the instructions and created it with {{Arbitration Committee Elections statement}}!), and answer it there.

If you believe a question is immaterial or irrelevant, you may note that fact in lieu of answering, but please do not remove questions from your own question page. If the question contains a personal attack or other offensive material, other editors will remove it for you.
