Raghu is an Engineer by education, Business Technology Analyst by profession and Social Entrepreneur by passion. He conceives different ideas and goes ahead implementing them with great energy.

His leadership and organizational skills came to the fore when he became the placement coordinator of his college, with a remarkable achievement of successfully managing around 150 companies and 1400 students. He is still carrying on the good work by helping many get new/better jobs in various firms using the networking connections.

A person with an active social mind, he has devised several career guidance programs for rural students, initiated computer learning opportunities for villagers, Championed greening initiatives, etc.

He is the man behind ‘Nambikai Desam’, a project that has been creating books and CDs of Tamil Poetry written by Dr. Arumuganathan, and donating the proceeds to sponsor education for the poor, needy and meritorious students. This project has earned high appreciations from great personalities like Dr. Abdul Kalam, etc.

He is currently involved in organizing TEDx events in India. He was the convener of TEDxHitechCity conference interacting with some of the leading and upcoming entrepreneurs, visionaries, thinkers, and achievers in diverse fields making the event a grand success.

He is also the recipient of various awards including the Best Outgoing student, Social Service, Best NSS Unit etc.

He strongly believes in Dr. Abdul Kalam’s vision that students are the face of the future and hence actively mentors rural students towards better education and social awareness.
