Pass Transistor Logic is a logic family also called P.T.L. In this family, the transistors are always connected to Vdd or Vss voltage. One advantage of this family is that there is no static power consumption, but it's largest disadvantage is that high logic level can only reach Vdd-Vt. This type of connection usually uses to create electronic switches.
