Appearance
Nairobi Java House is a chain of 10 coffee houses across Nairobi, Kenya. Along with Dorman's Coffee, the other major chain in the city, it is one of the few places where one can find "export-quality" Kenyan coffee brewed and served in the region. Java House is known for its various Kenyan coffees, home baked bread, Mexican cuisine, and free wifi.[1][2]

In 2008, Java House founder and former Managing Director Jon Wagner was brought to trial for sexually harrassing a minor. In 2010 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, one of the few foreign nationals living in Kenya to be giving a harsh sentence under the law.[5][6]
