How about a screencast to introduce WikiProject Screencast?

Screencasts: You've seen plenty of them. There are screencasts describing software tools, demonstrating how to build web pages, explaining how to fill out forms. Screen captures of a few screencasts (not specific to Wikimedia)
In this screencast, I want to tell you why I think screencasting could be a transformative tool for Wikipedia outreach and education.
Screencasting is a new medium: there are numerous tools, with numerous strengths and weaknesses; and there are many different creative approaches Screen shots of a few tools -- tricky to think how to do this while minimizing copyright/trademark concerns
Those unfamiliar with Wikipedia -- whether their interest is in reading or contributing -- have all kinds of questions.
  • "Who wrote this thing, anyway?"
  • "Can I use this photo in my report?"
  • "How do I make a table?"
  • "Why did my article get deleted?"

We have lots of text documentation… Several policy pages
