Toadflax

Toadflax is the English name of several related genera genus of plants in the family Scrophulariaceae.

(Before my edit, the previous writer wrote that the family for the genera below was the Plantaginaceae. At the order level, Scrophulariaceae and Plantaginaceae are close cousins. At the family level, they are distant cousins. The set of shared plant characteristics gets smaller as you proceed higher in the classification system.
