Petr Nikolaevich lebedev (Russian Пётр Николаевич Лебедев), February 24, 1866 - January 1, 1912 (new style). Russian physicist. Lebedev is most noted for his contribution to experimental studies of waves. He was the first to measure the pressure of light on a solid body (1900) confirming Maxwell theory.
