Trotec Ltd. is a global laser engraving systems producer with a worldwide market share of 10% - 15% (see external link, page 2). Trotec was founded in 1997 and it is a 100% daughter company of the trodat group. Trotec employs about 100 persons. The headquarter is located in Marchtrenk (Upper Austria). Their product range covers flatbed- or galvo-lasers powered by CO2 lasers from 12W to 500W and Vanadate- or Fiber-lasers up to 20W.
Trotec offers laser systems for engraving, cutting and marking applications. The company's laser systems claims to offer high reliability, accuracy and speed at lowest total cost of ownership. Trotec's main brand "Speedy" stands for a product line of laser systems scalable for different applications.
