  • Mathematical Programming, established in 1971, and published by Springer Science+Business Media, is the official scientific journal of the Mathematical Optimization Society. It currently consists of two series: A and B. The "A" series contains general publications. The "B" series focuses on topical mathematical programming areas. Series A is edited by Kurt Anstreicher (University of Iowa), Series B by Daniel Ralph (Judge Business School).

    According to the society, Springer has published the journal since January 1999. Mathematical Programming Studies is the predecessor of the Series B part of this journal. The target audience are mathematicians, econometricians, and operations researchers.
