A film made in 1979 by Monty Python's Flying Circus which deals with the life of Brian, a young carpenter who coincidentally lived at or around the same time and place as Jesus Christ. The film is a stunning critique of organised religion as a racket, hypocrisy and religious zealots. Not entirely unsuprisingly, the film ruffled a few feathers in those particular circles.
