MATSim (Multi-Agent Transport Simulation Toolkit) is an open source simulation programme written in Java. Its modules can be used stand-alone or in combination.
The simulation controller can be replaced by a custom controller. The modules are
- demand modelling
- large-scale agent based mobility simulation (traffic flow)
- re-planning
- simulation controller
- output analyzer
