User:Conversion script

The "Conversion script" was the script which converted Wikipedia from usemod format to the phase II format. This conversion occurred in February 2002. Originally, no history from most of the articles could be seen from before the conversion occurred — most of the articles which existed before phase II appeared to have been started by the conversion script. Brion has managed to extract most history from usemod and has added it to the database. However, the conversion script entries in history remained, in most cases appearing to perform whatever was the last edit prior to the conversion. See also Wikipedia:Usemod article histories.
