CodeCharge Studio is a rapid application development environment for creating web-based applications with minimal coding. It is a code generator and templating engine that separates the presentation layer from the coding layer, allowing designers and programmers to work cohesively in a web application (the model-view-controller design pattern).

CodeCharge utilizes point-and-click wizards for creating record and search forms, grids, and editable grids without the need for programming. Databases supported are MySQL, MS SQL Server, MS Access, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and all others that support web connectivity.

Features

  • Builds web applications by generating scalable programming code in ASP.NET (C# and VB), Classic ASP, InMotion Framework, PHP, Java Servlets, JSP, ColdFusion, and Perl.
  • Supports development of AJAX-enabled applications through a set of AJAX features, services and builders.
  • Provides a visual method for designing and including menus within web pages. Menus can be based on data from a database or static values specified in the builder.
  • Provides a visual method for designing and including Flash charts within a web page. The Flash chart component retrieves data from the database at run-time and presents it as a visual graph.
  • Visually creates web reports in minutes through step-by-step wizards.
