Prior Learning Assessment

Prior Learning Assessment, also sometimes know as Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition, describes the set of standards and procedures put in place by educational institutions to assign advanced standing to prospective students. Typically referred to as PLA by education professionals, Prior Learning Assessment is most often associated with adult education.
