Commercial Processing Workload
Appearance
Computational Intensive Workload, or CIW, is a measurement invented by IBM to compare the performance of its iSeries servers based on a CPU-intensive benchmark. The corresponding term for an I/O-intensive benchmark is CPW, or Commercial Processing Workload.
