An SHSH Blob is a 128-byte RSA signature used to verify the validity of firmware on Apple iPhones.[1]

SHSH Blobs are an example of Public-key cryptography, the result of a digital signing process where the device user generates a public fingerprint from their hardware, including the Exclusive Chip ID (ECID), and the private key is held by Apple Inc[1].

Caching of this signature is used in methods of iOS jailbreaking.
