Contrafuego was a Argentinian series that aired on Canal 9 from 26 August 2002 and September 30 of that year, at 22 pm. (UTC-3). The series had the role of Baby Etchecopar and Enzo Viena.
Plot
Tito Bisleri (Baby Etchecopar) is a policeman who killed his wife and daughter in an attack. In the first chapter is seen to Bisleri in the cemetery, leaving the flowers on the graves of his family. The police try to combat corruption by way of revenge for the death of his family. Tito moves in a very corrupt environment: a brigade where there are some corrupt police, a politician, Miranda (Enzo Vienna) is involved in the sale of arms and drugs, and Ramirez, who investigates Miranda with such bad luck that when you have the data, three employees of the politician with his secretary find it, take pictures to blackmail him, and steal the diskettes with the key information.
Although part of a brigade, Bisleri prefers to work alone. The same group that stole the floppy ends crashing the truck in which they escaped in a car dealership where they take 20 hostages. Federal Police, and two phones: one of Radio Telenueve and another 10 come immediately. But they can not do anything until Tito, using his wit, enters the scene dressed as a deliveryman empanadas and kill criminals. With the help of a friend, Tito recover the disks, but the confrontation with the political henchmen of the commissioner will end up making it take the force.1
Criticism
The first chapter was a measurement of 8.2 rating points, a measure not bad considering the time and channel to which transmition. The media echoed Etchecopar action, making fun of it. The Diario Clarín, in its Entertainment section, called "Bad" to policial.
"The series lacks the slightest hint of dramatic development, not to mention the complete lack of drawing and nuances in their characters. The bad guys are very bad and the good pathetic. The situations are amazing and hilarious outcomes. The structure is always the same: a crime is committed (hostage taking, kidnapping, weapons in a villa), Bisleri finds out and gets angry, followed by a series of disjointed scenes if not inexplicable, until the player is released only against the thugs and killed them with blows of Tom Cundom special effects (FX specialist and co-director of the series).
