Follow-up

Yes, I am the admin that blocked you - twice actually. One thing about blocks that you need to know is that they're not punitive - rather they're made to prevent further disruption when there is indication that an editor is acting inappropriately and is likely to continue.

You've gotten off to a rough start, but rest assured the folks that you think are persecuting you or are "attack dogs" as you referred to them are really not that. Whether you believe it or not, they're acting exactly as they are supposed to and their behavior is considered both polite and not inappropriate. Could some of these folks have been friendlier? yes. Have they done anything wrong? no. Have you done anything wrong? Yes, you have, apparently unknowingly.

It's clear to me that you didn't come to Wikipedia to disrupt the place. However, as folks have pointed out, we have policies and behavioral guidelines that we need to follow so that we can work collaboratively. It's clear you've been reading up on some of them, but haven't internalized them and our culture.

If someone thinks that you've done something outside of policy, they will issue you a warning like you have received. They're not attacks, rather they're there to get your attention so that you can change your behavior. In some cases, editors who receive these warnings are knowingly ignoring policies. In others (as I believe is likely with you) they either aren't aware of them or aren't interpreting them in the way that we intended.

It is possible that you don't have the temperament to interact with folks in this manner. If you determine that this is the case, you'll simply stop editing. Unfortunately, if you continue interacting with folks in the manner that you have, one of the admins like me, DougWeller or OrangeMike will likely come to that conclusion and block you indefinitely.

However, I'm hoping that you do have the temperament to work constructively here and will reconsider your approach. I'll be glad to work with you, but you'll have to understand that following our policies and behavioral guidelines is not optional - they're requirements.
