Siswala

Siswala is a village in the Hisar district of Haryana.[1] It is nineteen kilometers west of Hisar near the Rajasthan border. The population of the village is approx 3400.[2]

The village has two Hindu temples and one Gurudwara. The village has people from all the communities but the majority include Jat and Kumhar.[citation needed]

Siswala is accessible by road transport from the nearest city Hisar. A few bus services operate regularly during the day including Haryana Roadways and Ganga Jamuna.[3]

  2. ^ The main occupation of most peoples is agriculture but now a days a lots of youth are progressing including a few engineers[citation needed]and a few people employed in Indovax Company which is 2km outside the village http://www.indovax.com/. The agricultural land in the village is irrigated by a canal or Rajbaha known as Balsamand Minor and by a few tube wells. The village has a local administration called Panchayat. The head of Panchayat notably known as the Sarpanch is Satbir Singh Bhobiya, who was elected recently by democratic process. The village has two ponds for drinking water for cattle, one of them is notably know as Pili Johari and other as Johar.Drinking water is supplied from a Water supply system situated outside the village operated by state government
