Mathematical Programming is the official journal of the Mathematical Optimization Society.

The journal was first published in 1971, and consists of two series. The 'A' series (edited by Kurt Anstreicher of The University of Iowa) contains general publications. The 'B' series (edited by Daniel Ralph of the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge) focuses on topical mathematical programming areas.
