NetDrive is a FTP and WEBDAV client software produced by MacroData Inc. for Microsoft Windows operating systems, first launched in 2006. The latest version of software is 1.1.0.1.[1] [2] The software is currently compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2003/2008. Since release 1.1, NetDrive is compatible with 64bit Windows.

A different product under the same name, Novell Netdrive [3], was created by Novell Networks. It's abandonware and no longer available from Novell.

Features

NetDrive enables users to manage files on FTP or WebDAV server installed remote systems in comprehensive Windows way. With the software a user can mount remote server over FTP/FTPS(using SSL)/SFTP(using SSH)/WEBDAV/WEBDAV SSL to a computer's local drive, transfer and manage files by a simple drag-and-drip, and run such as executable file, multimedia file without full download.

Licensing

The full-featured NetDrive is allowed to use free for noncommercial home use. Commercial, educational use requires a software license. Licensing is based on the honor system and there's not any nac screen.
