Canaima may refer to:

Canaima was a legendary cacique in what is now Venezuela, that while fighting the Spaniard invaders fell from a cliff with his tribe. The grief and tears of his wife, as the legend tells it, gave rise to the "Churun Meru" waterfalls (known to us as Angel falls)
