Oh, come on...
Does anyone really think that this is better than this? I don't think that the guideline WP:EL about external links is really meant to tell people to take out all the links to the relevant company pages on which the table is based, then replace them with a note about "unverifiable" information, simply because they appear in a table as external links rather than as numbered references. We have policies like WP:POINT and WP:IAR for a reason - because a guideline is supposed to be an aid, not a straitjacket. Wnt (talk) 17:44, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
