The Max Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces is a research institute for colloids and is located in Golm, Germany. It was founded 1990 as a successor of the Institute for Physical Chemistry and for Organic Chemistry in Berlin-Adlershof and of for Polymer Chemistry in Teltow. It moved into the new buildings in Golm 1999. It is one of 80 institute in the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Gesellschaft).
