OSS/J is an acronym for OSS (Operations Support System) through Java, which is a kind of middleware to connect different OSS information systems by using Java technologies.

The OSS/J initiative has been founded in 2000 by several members (view list). Their primary goal is to develop an open standard for the integration of Operations Support Systems.
