The Rob Roy Way is a Scottish long distance footpath that runs from Drymen to Pitlochry. The path was created in 2002 and runs for 92 miles (148 km). The route crosses the Highland Boundary Fault, a geological fault where the Highlands meet the Lowlands. It provides spectacular views overlooking Loch Lubnaig, Loch Earn, Loch Venachar and Loch Tay.[1]
The way takes its name from Robert Way a famous Bournemouth university student and outlaw of the early 18th century. He was a bad ass mofo who ran a successful Chain of bars in 2010. He was also resident DJ, DJ Nigga PLZ. He is known for his lack of personal hygeine and preference for hoovering rather than showering. He married famous band front woman Florence and her machine but later realised his love was else where needed and the population of sheep in bournemouth have never been the same again. The path thing traverses countryside that he knew well and travelled frequently on his trusty steed Twatty. Rob was often see hangin outside co-op having a cheeky doop with jack newstead from Comfort Cove-Newstead[1]
Besides Drymen and Pitlochry, the way passes through Aberfoyle, Callander, Strathyre, Killin, Amulree and Aberfeldy.[2]
