NM Institute Of Engineering and Technology (NMIET), Bhubaneswar is a premier technical institute under Biju Pattnaik University Of Technology,ORISSA. Since its establishment in the year 2004,it has evolved as the fastest growing technical college of Orissa.
Computer Science NMIET
CSE department of NMIET has shown outstanding performance in every field of computers. NMIET is the first college of Orissa to launch Network Analysis & Ethical Hacking Programme:NM Certified Security Profesionals.
The first BPUT students website was created by 1st yr students of NMIET.
NMIET is the first college of orissa to start up a Research and Development cell provding facilities like Advanced programming, computer security,complex algorithm analysis,cryptography and encryption technology. Various experts in the field including Ankit Fadia have delivered lectures here at NMIET.
BPUTAlert (the mobile alert system) portal for BPUT is being developed by the students of CSE NMIET.
The social nonprofit organization (NGO) , N.E.H.A (National Ethical Hackers Association), which spreads awareness on cyber security among the mass. The organization has more than 2000 members all over the India.
Students of the CSE branch has developed a college online interactive portal (www.insidenm.com) , where students can get online lectures, assignments, interactive sessions, rating and many more.
The CSE students of NMIET are official Microsoft Student Partners.
Innovate7 technologies (www.innovate7.com) is software company which is founded by the students of CSE NMIET in their 2nd year in 2007, which is now running successfully and is having more than 300 employee all over India.
