Interactive Transcripts are an innovative new method to consume media.

Similar to captions or subtitles, an Interactive Transcript is displayed beside the audio or video source. As the user hears the words being spoken, the corresponding words in the transcript are simultaneously underlined. Doing so, greatly increases the retention of the material.

TED.com, The New York Times and other prominent media outlines have started implementing Interactive Transcripts on their webpages.

The only provider of Interactive Transcripts that can be found with a simple Google search is http://www.protranscript.com
