British Library, Add. Ms. 12150, is a Syriac manuscript of the writings of three ancient Christian authors: Clementine, Titus of Bostra, and Eusebius.
Description
The codex contains text of Titus of Bostra, Four Discources against the Manichaeans; Eusebius, On the Theophany; On the Confessors of Palestine, A Eulogy of the Confesors' Virtue; and a Martyrology on 255 parchment leaves (37 cm by 28.5 cm). The writing is in three columns per page, in 38-42 lines per column, in estrangela. The ink is black and brown.[1]
According to the colophon the name of scribe was Jacob and the manuscript was written in Edessa.[1]
The manuscript was described by William Hatch.
It is currently housed at the National Library of Russia (Cod. Syr. 1) in Saint Petersburg.[1]
