Talk:Inclusive composite interval mapping
Appearance
ICIM (Inclusive composite interval mapping) is a widely used algorithm in QTL Mapping research area. QTL Mapping is a branch in Quantitative Genetics.
I do not understand why it is considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion. Maybe it is a little academic, but it is a good algorithm.
Please take a look into Process Of NAM and Current use of NAM sections in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_association_mapping. Nested_association_mapping also uses ICIM (Inclusive composite interval mapping) algorithm.

- This article is telling what Inclusive composite interval mapping algorithm is. And it also shows the usages and advantages of Inclusive composite interval mapping algorithm in different QTL Mapping research areas. I believe this part is enough to show how notable the algorithm is. A typical software implementation of this algorithm is also mentioned. The FAQ part covers the popular questions to this algorithm.
