ICIM (Inclusive composite interval mapping) is a widely used algorithm in QTL Mapping research area. QTL Mapping is a branch in Quantitative Genetics.

I do understand why it is considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion. Maybe it is a little academic, but it is a good algorithm.

Please take a look into [Process Of NAM|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_association_mapping#Process_of_NAM] and [Current use of NAM|http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_association_mapping#Current_use_of_NAM] sections in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nested_association_mapping. Nested_association_mapping also uses ICIM (Inclusive composite interval mapping) algorithm. 15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)15:29, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
