What's the Difference is a song by Dr. Dre on his 2001. It features Eminem and Xzibit. At the time considered the father, the future and the godfather of rap. Every verse is rapped and the chorus is group shouted.

Conception

Dr. Dre's verse is talking about all his critics and all the people he has known. Such as Snoop Dogg, Eazy-E and D.O.C. Eminem's verse is about murdering his ex-wife Kimberly Mathers. The whole song is asking the question What's the Difference between them and us.

Live

The song was part of the setlist for the Up in Smoke Tour. On some performances on the tour Eminem used the expilict nigger.[1]

Along with alot of songs off 2001. The song charted on the R&B and hip hop songs due to radio play after the album was released.
