Computational Transportation Science (CTS) is an interdisciplinary field that combines computer science and engineering with the modeling, planning, and economic aspects of transportation. The field studies how to improve safety, mobility, and sustainability of the transportation system by taking advantage of information technologies and ubiquitous computing.
