Tron (hacker)

Tron was the nickname of Boris Floricic, a German hacker who took that name out of respect for the character in the 1982 Disney film. Floricic died in 1998, but the circumstance that surround his death are unknown and various conspiracy theories have sprung up.

The family of Floricic has announced on January 13 2006 that they sued Wikimedia Foundation Inc. because the article contained his real name. Widely reported in the Dutch and German press, the lawsuit is still pending.
